It's simple. Wear clothes that make you feel good. Consider solid colors and simple styles that keep the focus on you. Bring several outfits for variety, and matching shoes for full-length portraits. Don't forget letter jackets, JROTC, band, sports, cheer, or other uniforms.

Avoid getting a new hairstyle or cut right before your session. Instead, select a comfortable style you know looks good. Apply makeup like you would for a special night out. And bring a hairbrush and makeup for quick touchups before and during the session.

. Apply concealer and powder to minimize any blemishes. Then, stop worrying! Portrait retouching can eliminate small flaws under-eye circles. Hands should look nice, so give yourself a mini-manicure. (Yes, guys, too.) Ladies, be sure your nail polish matches all your outfits. Clear or neutral colors are classics.

Finally, some color from the sun looks nice, but avoid sunburns and tan lines. And refrain from using body glitter; it doesn't photograph well.

Be sure to shave before you face the camera. If you wear a baseball cap, listen to your photographer carefully for posing without shadows. And consider borrowing a little face powder to tone down shine.

Prestige is happy to help you plan your session. If you have questions, please call us or ask your photographer the day of your session.

You look like you feel. If you're happy, comfortable, and excited, it shows! Imagine the camera is your best friend. Or, better yet, bring your best friend along for moral support - and a buddy picture.

The real you is interesting and unique. So bring along props such as musical instruments, uniforms, sports equipment, and special accessories, like your class ring.

We guarantee variety - soft colors, lights, special props and sets, casual, contemporary, and traditional backgrounds. Select poses you like or ask us to advise. Your number of backgrounds and poses varies by location and depends on the type of session you choose.

A sitting fee is collected at the time of your session. You may also be asked to pay a proof deposit to take your proofs home when ready. The deposit is refunded or applied to your order when your proofs are returned.

When you're in front of the camera, you hold the complete attention of your photographer. How long it takes depends on the session you choose. Collaborate with him or her on posing choices - it's your day.

Retouching is done on your final order. The most common retouching needs are lines under eyes or blemishes.
