It's simple. Wear
clothes that make you feel good. Consider solid colors and simple
styles that keep the focus on you. Bring several
outfits for variety, and matching shoes for full-length portraits.
Don't forget letter jackets, JROTC, band, sports, cheer, or other
uniforms.
Avoid getting a
new hairstyle or cut right before your session. Instead, select a
comfortable style you know looks good. Apply makeup like you would for
a special night out. And bring a hairbrush and makeup for quick
touchups before and during the session.
 . Apply concealer
and powder to minimize any blemishes. Then, stop worrying! Portrait
retouching can eliminate small flaws under-eye circles. Hands should
look nice, so give yourself a mini-manicure. (Yes, guys, too.) Ladies,
be sure your nail polish matches all your outfits. Clear or neutral
colors are classics.
Finally, some color from the sun looks
nice, but avoid sunburns and tan lines. And refrain from using body
glitter; it doesn't photograph well.

Be sure to shave
before you face the camera. If you wear a baseball cap, listen to your
photographer carefully for posing without shadows. And consider
borrowing a little face powder to tone down shine.
Prestige is happy to help you plan your
session. If you have questions, please call us or ask your
photographer the day of your session.
